Westmead Hospital
Leathwood was engaged by Multiplex to deliver landscape and civil works for the $900 million Westmead Hospital redevelopment—one of the largest health infrastructure projects in NSW. Our scope included large-scale paving, roadworks, and bespoke urban furniture to create a functional and welcoming outdoor environment.
Key works involved 5,500m² of granite paving, a cobbled driveway, kerb and gutter installation with integrated drainage, and 1,500m² of heavy-duty asphalt across three internal roads. We also installed custom bollards, line marking and signage. Over 4,000m² of slabs, exposed stairs with tactile elements, and custom furniture were constructed. Fifty mature palms were craned into place, supported by a detailed irrigation system for long-term plant health.
