In 2009, he founded Fresh Landscapes to address a gap in the market for superior service and reputable workmanship. His hands-on approach, from tender through to completion, ensures every project benefits from his expertise and attention to detail.
Alex’s dedication to quality and long-term relationships continues to guide Leathwood, securing its reputation as a leader in commercial landscaping.

With 15 years in Finance and Leadership, including 13 years in Tier 1 Construction. Ashy combines strategic thinking, operational insight, and deep financial expertise. As CFO, she leads planning, budgeting, risk oversight, and performance improvement. Passionate about efficiency, accuracy, and sustainable growth, Ashy has managed large-scale budgets, streamlined reporting, and strengthened cash flow. With strong construction knowledge, she excels in project-based accounting, job costing, and contract compliance, working closely with teams to align financial strategy, ensure transparency, and support smart, future-focused decision-making.

With extensive experience in marketing and business development across industrial and building markets, Stuart has worked with organisations ranging from small enterprises to large corporations. Holding a Master of Management in Marketing Management from Macquarie University, Stuart is skilled in consultative selling, market planning, sales management, and leading high-performing teams. Known for building strong client relationships and delivering sustainable growth, Stuart brings a strategic and results-driven approach, combining industry insight with proven expertise to achieve outstanding outcomes in competitive market environments.

Since joining in 2022 as National HSEQ Manager, Aaron has led new systems and strategies to drive training and align internal processes with ISO compliance. With a trade background in high-risk environments and extensive safety expertise, he brings valuable perspective and appreciation for people’s potential.
Starting in the electricity supply industry, then moving into Landscape Construction, Aaron built strong safety focus and leadership skills. His experience bridges the frontline and management through clear communication, commercial acumen, and understanding of field challenges.

Paul’s career began in civil construction before moving into the landscape sector, progressing from Contracts Administrator to project delivery, estimating, and now Estimating Manager.
His operational and commercial experience provides a strong understanding of the full project lifecycle. With a background in IT, construction, and estimating, Paul identifies risks early and develops workable solutions. Leading the estimating team, he focuses on accuracy, competitiveness, and aligning projects with strategic goals, playing a key role in Leathwood’s continued success in civil and landscape construction.

Joshua began his career through a landscape construction apprenticeship, progressing from trade and supervisory roles into project delivery and commercial management across open space and civil projects in Sydney.
Since joining Leathwood in 2021, he has advanced to Contracts Manager, overseeing procurement, contract administration, financial performance and end-to-end delivery of multiple projects exceeding $15 million across government and infrastructure sectors. With a strong practical leadership approach, he delivers projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Declan joined Leathwood in mid-2023 after relocating from Sydney to Queensland. Over the past three years, he has delivered a range of major private and public sector projects.
With 10 years of industry experience across hydraulics, civil landscaping, and high-end residential construction, Declan brings a broad skill set to the business.
As Queensland Construction Manager, he oversees project delivery, manages teams, and ensures projects meet Leathwood’s standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction as the Queensland market continues to grow towards the Brisbane Olympic Games.

Kyle joined in 2024 as General Manager – Maintenance, overseeing all operational and commercial matters. With over 25 years of leadership experience in maintenance and construction across the Private and Public Sectors, he has learned from leading industry figures. Kyle uses proven methods and cutting-edge technology to cut costs, streamline operations, and boost productivity and satisfaction.
Kylie is a true relationship-builder, he prioritises stakeholder engagement, strengthening organisational reputation and community connection while maintaining an innovative, high-performing focus on exceeding expectations.
