Parramatta Square
Leathwood was engaged by Built for the prestigious Parramatta Square project, helping transform one of Western Sydney’s most significant civic precincts. Works included raising the public domain pavement by 1.2 metres using a suspended precast flooring system, spanning 4,000m² and supported by over 80 tonnes of steel and 550m³ of concrete. Our team managed all mobile crane operations, including 100-tonne lifts, within a restricted and highly active site.
Key landscape elements included cascading internal planters, polished granite bowtie planters and in‑ground tree pits. Over 5,000 tonnes of Smart Mix soil were placed using a mechanical slinger, with mature trees carefully craned into position. Premium paving materials completed the space, delivering a high-quality, accessible public environment.
