Leathwood was engaged to transform the external areas of Nambour Hospital, carefully managing the demolition process to ensure minimal disruption to the hospital’s operations. The scope included designing and installing a raised boardwalk and decking system, complemented by 3-metre-high timber screens, providing staff privacy while enhancing the space’s natural aesthetics.

In addition, our team installed custom furniture, waterproofed planter boxes, and over 1,500 plants to create a serene, green environment for both staff and visitors. We also laid porcelain tile pavements and installed directional tactile paving to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility. This project showcases our ability to deliver functional and sustainable landscapes within a busy healthcare environment.
