Hawthorne
Leathwood was engaged by Richard Crookes to undertake landscaping at 23 Hawthorne Avenue, a state-of-the-art office and warehouse complex. The works included the design and installation of a centralised, smart irrigation system, steel edging to define landscaped areas, and the spreading of over 720 tonnes of imported garden soil for optimal growing conditions. More than 11,000 plants were carefully selected and planted to enhance the complex’s greenery.
Other works included designing and installing Level 1 planter boxes with cascading gardens to soften the structure and add additional greenery. As part of the public domain works, 1,000m² of premium turf was laid. This project highlights our commitment to creating sustainable, low-maintenance landscapes that complement modern architecture and provide a welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike.
