Leathwood was engaged to transform the City of Sydney’s public domain spaces, creating vibrant, multi-level gardens that harmonise with the urban environment. Our team installed trellis wiring to support climbing plants, enhancing the site’s vertical green spaces. On the rooftop, we strategically placed 750-litre trees, adding a lush canopy to the skyline. Over 1,400m³ of premium topsoil was distributed to ensure optimal plant growth and sustainability.
A key feature of the project was the design and construction of an advanced irrigation system, integrating a centralised water management solution. This system ensures efficient water distribution across the expansive gardens, with remote-control functionality for ease of maintenance. The result is a dynamic, sustainable green space that enhances the public areas of the City of Sydney, promoting urban biodiversity and environmental resilience.
