Bankstown University
Leathwood was engaged by Built to deliver extensive landscape and civil works for the new Bankstown University precinct. Our scope included the full demolition of the existing public domain area and structures, followed by site preparation, kerb, gutter & road installation, concrete walls, import of 5000m2 of custom granite paving & installation, street furniture, irrigation, and large-scale planting.
A key challenge was sourcing and delivering the custom granite paving during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite logistical constraints, our team successfully coordinated procurement and installation, ensuring the project remained on schedule. Through proactive planning and execution, we transformed the university’s public spaces into a high-quality, functional, and inviting environment for students and the wider community.
